The M&M Product story began in 1994 with one person, a 10 sqm office and a car. In 1990, when Melinda Mure\u0219an was a recent graduate of the Faculty of Wood Processing, all traditional factories were closing. She started working for a pallet delivery company. There she saw how the goods were packed and palletized, through a new process for the Romanian market.<\/p>\n

That’s how she came up with the idea of setting up a business to import films for industrial packaging. At first, she imported goods from a Hungarian company that wanted to expand into a new market. In the chaos of the 1990s economy, I discovered a new world for me, that of professional packaging. Romanian producers didn\u2019t know anything about this field. The packaging used was rudimentary. . I was fascinated by what I had seen\/understood it can be done with the help of modern packaging: ease of transport, protection of goods, security of the product, support of advertising. Beyond the need to find my place and income necessary for my existence, was the fascination for innovative products,<\/strong> iinnovative for Romania, which until then had been almost completely closed to them. As an engineer, I loved the solutions that flexible plastic packaging offered. I I was excited about how many operations could be facilitated, improved, how many new ways of use and packaging these products could bring. . I understood how many industries can benefit from them, that there is almost no product that cannot be packaged, that any industry or manufactory can access these products. At foreign fairs, the variety of solutions really overwhelmed me, there were so many things to learn, so many products, solutions that were all attractive; it was like a \u201chuge ocean\u201d of possibilities.<\/p>\n

I was driven by the desire to help, to educate, to be useful <\/strong> to those we presented with the new solutions and possibilities I saw the future for them, I saw how they could make their work easier, to have products presented and protected differently. I have never just wanted to trade; I am not mercantile enough or not at all. That’s why I didn’t set up a merchandise-oriented company. My company was focused towards new, towards solutions, innovation, educating the market.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/toggle][toggle color=”Default” heading_tag=”default” heading_tag_functionality=”default” title=”What values do I have. And what principles”][vc_column_text]Truth, honesty, fairness towards partners and colleagues. Love for the people, care for them, respect.<\/p>\n

I believe in our ability to renew ourselves daily, to become better, more performant, more willing to be useful, to serve our partners, colleagues and the community we live in, with all that is best in us.<\/p>\n

I am confident in people’s ability to evolve professionally and as a human. I love and cherish people; through them, the company has become one of the leading players in the Romanian high-performance flexible packaging industry. I’ve noticed that every time I wanted to do something other than the things I am really good at, I lost. I quickly learned that I needed a team, people to dream with and build with. I also learned that I have to\u2026 learn. And to continually improve.<\/p>\n

I learned that I have to be patient. . I learned to understand that it is not important what I want, but what is good for us.<\/p>\n

I learned to measure my strengths and make big plans, but with a strategy and especially with a great team behind me.<\/p>\n

The future lies in responsible consumption, in educating society and our partners to be involved and responsible in the way they manage this gift of science \u2013 flexible plastic packaging.<\/p>\n

We choose how good or less good the quality of our packaging can be, by the way we decide what packaging we use, how we use it, how we manage it throughout its life cycle, how we reuse it, how we protect the environment. Good or less good is the result of human decisions, not necessarily depending on the product.<\/p>\n

For me, the responsible future means: consulting in choosing the packaging responsibly, in offering solutions and green packaging (which are sourced from the nature, nature-friendly), but also informing and educating partners, society.
